System Check

$500 - Includes a comprehensive assessment and report. Immediate fixes will be made if possible, with details on next steps and replacements.

Labor Rates

Standard Solar Labor: $80 per hour
Solar Expert / C-10 Licensed Electrician / Other Licensed Trades: $125 per hour

Module Removal

Charged by the hour. Options include removing panels only, panels and racking, or panels, racking, and roof jacks. The choice of removal depends on the roofer's assessment.

Module Replacement

Charged by the hour. 'Same for same' replacements. Additional parts are billed separately. A complete system removal is akin to a new installation.

Module Haul Away

$250 for up to 30 modules. Modules must be easily accessible for loading. Standard disposal is to the dump; recycling options can be explored upon request.

Inverter Replacement

$500 minimum fee. 'Same for same' replacements. After 4-man hours, standard hourly rates apply. Additional parts billed at cost plus 40%.

MicroInverter Replacement

First microinverter: $250.00
Additional microinverters: $30.00 each
'Same for same' replacements, additional parts billed separately.

General Labor Rate

$80/hour per worker. Labor-only projects billed daily. Payment by check at the end of each day unless otherwise agreed.

Travel Rates

$80.00 per person for travel. Applies to jobs over 15 miles from Torrance, CA. Mileage charges apply for distances over 15 miles.

Change Orders

Additional costs for labor or materials will be executed only with a written and accepted change order.

Rock Clause

If underground obstacles impede progress, a change order will be executed on a time and material basis for remediation.

Roof Issues

If roof issues are found early on-site and work must stop, a minimum fee of $500 is charged. Ensure readiness as per roofer's assessment to avoid this fee.

Electrical Issues

Work stops immediately on finding illegal connections. A report outlining solutions is provided. Clients are advised to disclose known issues in advance.

Telephone Support

$125.00 per hour for over-the-phone or video support. Free friendly advice available, but in-depth consultations and manufacturer engagements are billable.

Global Service Availability

Expertise available globally. Premium service with all travel expenses billed. Requires clear work description and agreement prior to service.

ABC Solar Service Agreement

This Service Agreement (the "Agreement") is made and entered into by and between [Client's Name] ("Client") and ABC Solar Inc., with its principal place of business located at 24454 Hawthorne Blvd., Torrance, CA 90505.

Effective Date: November 24, 2023

1. Services:

ABC Solar Inc. agrees to perform the solar installation, maintenance, and repair services (the "Services") as described in the attached Service Menu and any additional schedules or addendums.

2. Payment:

The Client agrees to pay for the Services according to the pricing outlined in the Service Menu. Additional costs due to change orders or unforeseen complications will be billed as per the terms outlined in this Agreement.

3. Term:

This Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue until the completion of the Services unless terminated earlier as provided herein.

4. Responsibilities of ABC Solar Inc.:

ABC Solar Inc. shall perform the Services in a professional and workmanlike manner and shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Responsibilities of Client:

The Client shall provide access to the site and any necessary facilities, information, and cooperation required for ABC Solar Inc. to perform the Services.

6. Changes and Cancellations:

Any changes to the scope of the Services must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties. Cancellations may be subject to cancellation fees as outlined in the Service Menu.

7. Liability and Insurance:

ABC Solar Inc. shall maintain appropriate insurance coverage. ABC Solar Inc.'s liability shall be limited as set forth in this Agreement.

8. Warranty:

ABC Solar Inc. warrants that the Services will be provided in a competent and professional manner. Any warranty related to materials or equipment shall be limited to the warranty provided by the manufacturer.

9. Termination:

Either party may terminate this Agreement upon written notice if the other party breaches its obligations and fails to cure such breach within a reasonable period.

10. Governing Law:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

11. Dispute Resolution:

Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through final and binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

12. Entire Agreement:

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, both written and oral, concerning the subject matter hereof.
